Dolphins have always held a mysterious beauty and to watch them gracefully gliding through the water is certainly a privilege. Ponta Malongane is
frequented by many pods of Bottlenose Dolphins who are becoming more accustomed to human encounters.
If you are not up to diving, dolphin tours are available where you can safely snorkel with the dolphins and enjoy an intimate experience with nature.
During the winter months the whales migrate through the Indian Ocean on their way south. The Humpback and Southern Right Whales can been heard underwater by scuba divers and these great majestic creatures can be seen breaching in the deep waters.
It is similarly an area that Whale sharks frequent however snorkellers are not allowed to swim with them.
